I'm not here to make you look like someone else.

I'm here to help you look like you — just the version of you that you know is in there somewhere.

I've been doing this for over 20 years. In that time I've worked with hundreds of professional women — directors, partners, business owners, consultants — who are accomplished, self-aware, and completely stuck when it comes to getting dressed.

They don't lack intelligence or taste. They've just lost the thread. Somewhere between building a career, running a life, and taking care of everyone else, they stopped feeling like themselves. And when you don't feel like yourself, the wardrobe is usually where it shows first.

That's where I come in.

I'm Lizzie Edwards. Personal stylist, style strategist, and author based in London.

I started my career as a model, which taught me a huge amount about clothes — and even more about how women feel in them.

I left that world and trained as a stylist because I was far more interested in helping real women feel good than in what was on a runway.

My approach has never been about trends. It's about style and identity. It’s about working out who you are now — not who you were ten years ago, and not who fashion says you should be — and building a wardrobe that reflects that person properly.

I'm direct, I'm practical, and I'll tell you the truth. I'm also genuinely easy to spend a day with. Women who work with me are often surprised by how straightforward and enjoyable the process is. There's no judgment, no pressure, and absolutely no fuss.

I'm not a fashion person. I never have been.

Most of the women I work with don't have a shopping problem. They have a strategy problem. Their wardrobe is full of individual items that don't connect — lots of pieces, but none of the essential ingredients that actually make outfits. It's like a kitchen stocked with ingredients that don't go together. You can't make a meal, so you end up ordering in every night.

What I do is give you the strategy. We work out your signature style, build the right foundations, and make sure everything connects. Then we shop — with complete intention, and no pressure to buy anything that doesn't earn its place.

The result is a wardrobe that works. One that makes getting dressed feel easy, and getting out of the door feel good.

My whole philosophy comes down to this: a smaller, smarter wardrobe will always outperform a full one that doesn't work.

Less, but right. Every time.

It became an Amazon bestseller because it treated women like the intelligent adults they are.

No trend reports. No rules about what to wear for your body shape. Just a clear, teachable framework for developing a style that works — written by someone who has spent two decades in changing rooms with women who are brilliant at everything except this.

The second edition came out in 2022. The framework inside it is the foundation of everything I do, both in my 1:1 work and in Elevate, my style membership for professional women.

In 2018 I wrote Look Like the Leader You Are — a practical, no-nonsense guide to building a wardrobe around your ambition, your values, and your actual life.
