I contacted LESC because a lot of my work clothes had worn out or were dated. I had mostly been shopping in just one boutique in my home town for the last few years as I don’t have the time or inclination to go shopping. I have found difficulty in getting clothes to mix and match so I wanted a capsule wardrobe with pieces that all go together, without being overly corporate all of the time.

I had far too many clothes, and I have great difficulty throwing anything out. I needed someone who understands style/clothes to go through them with me and tell me honestly what needed to go.

I really liked my stylist Nicole, and she was amazing!. She was firm when she needed to be but also kind. She had a good understanding of my style and which of my clothes worked and told me which colours would suit me, which were quite different from most colours I already had! The result was a scarily small amount of clothes left, but it was therapeutic.

When it came to the shopping trip she had clearly done a lot of research and had arranged for items to be set aside. My biggest learnings were about the colours that suit me, my body shape and which clothes make me look my best.

N introduced me to brands I hadn’t heard of before, as well as some I had heard of but had never tried. I now see that I need to know what I’m looking for and carry out some research before going shopping. I hope this will stop me making so many mistakes in the future, although I don’t think I’ll be able to do this properly without her magic!

I feel confident and happy wearing my new clothes and I have had some nice comments from colleagues, and my daughter about them.

Nicole managed to create for me a capsule wardrobe that is current, classic, classy and possibly even a little chic. All of the pieces I bought go together and this has achieved my dream of an uncluttered wardrobe, filled with pieces I wear and that all mix and match. I am delighted with it as it is so much easier to decide what to wear in the morning.

I really enjoyed my sessions and I am very pleased with my new pieces. I am going on a business trip soon and it’s going to be so easy to get my clothes ready (something which would have been a nightmare before) and I won’t take nearly as many as I normally would.

I would definitely recommend using a personal stylist at LESC. It challenges your thinking and achieves a good result in a relatively short space of time.
